Robert Hampton Gray Memorial School (at 12 Wing Canadian Forces Base Shearwater) is a brick elementary school which was dedicated in memory of Robert Hampton Gray, VC, RCNVR, Second World War in 1952. It now houses the Canadian Forces Military Families Resource Centre (MFRC) and the French Language Training School.

Kokanee Provincial Glacier Park is home to two mountains named after Hampton and his brother Jack, both of whom were killed in World War II. A lake 165 kilometres north of Edmonton, Alberta was renamed Lake Gray in 1983 as a memorial to Hampton.

A memorial at the Kingston Airport in Kingston, Ontario is dedicated to Gray, the 23 men of the Fleet Air Arm from Britain and the Commonwealth who died during training. It was erected by the Canadian Naval Group, Hampton Gray V.C. Chapter in May 1992.

The Branch No. 51 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Nelson, BC, is dedicated to the honoured memory of Lieutenant Robert Hampton Gray VC, DSC, Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve.

A memorial to Gray also exists at Onagawa Wan, just metres away from where his plane crashed; this is the only memorial dedicated to a foreign soldier on Japanese soil.

His Victoria Cross is on loan to the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa.
